It's the time of year when it’s not just the leaves that start falling. Managers begin to tumble when the nights draw in too and already some see a few jackets are on shoogly nails. A chunk of Rangers and Hearts fans are already taking names and here’s another one to add to the list – David Martindale.

He is the miracle man who can work wonders with half their budgets and the way these teams are playing their respective managers need a miracle to stay in their jobs.”
Meanwhile, Bill Park, Bathgate, said: “Robert Livingstone must be getting too much sun in Palm Beach with his suggestions for Rangers new manager. Souness, Gerrard and Brendan Rogers, no thanks. Michael Beale is a possibility, as he played such an important part in Rangers winning their record breaking 55.”
