Jon McLaughlin 6
Had very little to do with Rangers on top for much of the match but kept his concentration throughout. Rushed out to block Adingra well in the latter stages.
James Tavernier 7
Another European night, another goal for the Rangers captain. Composed to tuck away the opener from the spot and set the standards for his team-mates at Ibrox.
Connor Goldson 7
Ever-reliable both in Europe and domestically, Goldson was comfortable for most of the night to ensure no slip-ups at Ibrox. Beaten in the air early on but did enough to put Van der Heyden off.
James Sands 6
A big night for the 22-year-old and he coped – just about. A little sloppy on the ball and survived a red card scare in the second-half but decision was correctly overturned.
Borna Barisic 6
Endured a tough first-half with lots of the ball but little output but rallied well to provide an attacking outlet in the second period. Crossed well to back-post for crucial Tillman winner.
John Lundstram 8
Went under the radar in the centre but did his job exceptionally well. Managed the midfield and was confident in pushing Rangers forward all night with super passing.
Malik Tillman 8
The man of the moment at Ibrox. A real exciting prospect and showed his class with a number of clever pieces of skill and excellent vision. An incredible leap and header to win the tie.
Tom Lawrence 7
Put in a mammoth shift in a crucial European tie. Industrious to help in defence and excellent going forward. Took it upon himself to take the game by the scruff of the neck and create for Rangers.
Scott Arfield 7
Given the nod in an attacking midfield for Rangers and offered his usual quality on the ball and late runs into the box. Nearly scored himself before Colak nodded over the line.
Ryan Kent 7
A major boost to start after an ankle knock and performed well with a number of dangerous crosses into the box. Always makes a huge difference to Rangers’ attacking threat and was tireless to the final whistle.
Antonio Colak 7
Favoured to Morelos from the start and got his goal after relentless endeavour. Nodded finish was exactly what was needed and capped an impressive display as the solo striker.
Rabbi Matondo (for Arfield, 64) 4
Offered some extra pace going forward and was a nuisance for Union Saint-Gilloise.
Ben Davies (for Sands, 80) 3
Replaced Sands who was walking a tightrope after his red card confusion and was solid.
Alfredo Morelos (for Colak, 80) 3 Given last ten minutes and agonisingly close to adding a fourth but just couldn’t connect to a Kent cross.
Glen Kamara (for Lawrence, 87) 2
Showed experience in the final few minutes.
