Rangers winger Jake Hastie has joined Northern Irish side Linfield on loan in a bid to get his career back on track.
The winger from Law is a product of the Motherwell youth academy and his career has stalled since leaving Fir Park for Ibrox in 2019.
He made six appearances for Championship club Partick Thistle after his half-season loan agreement from Rangers, in August, which was not extended.
Hastie joined the Premiership champions on a four-year-deal after an excellent run of form with Motherwell, but he has found loans at Rotherham, Fir Park and the Jags difficult.
Linfield boss David Healy has now snapped him up until the end of the season: "We’ve been in discussions with Jake over several weeks and I’m delighted to have finally got this Ioan deal concluded.
"Jake will certainly strengthen the squad and give us further options over the coming months.
"He’s got plenty of experience from playing in Scotland and we are looking forward to him joining up with us next week.
"I know the news of his signing will be a real boost to the club and the supporters who will no doubt make him feel welcome and at home."
