The international break is almost over - and for Rangers it's back to business as they look to keep the pressure on Celtic at the top of the table.
Scotland's sensational victory over Spain may be dominating the headlines but Michael Beale will be hoping to welcome back his international stars unscathed for the return of Scottish Premiership action against Dundee United. The Ibrox boss will have his sights set on silverware with the Scottish Cup on the agenda and will be keen to keep momentum going into the semi-final showdown at Hampden with Ange Postecoglou's side.
There is still plenty of mileage left in the current campaign, but Beale will be looking to reshape the squad for next season with the prospect of a jam-packed summer on the cards. Key stars like Alfredo Morelos and Allan McGregor are out of contract, and there could be plenty of incomings to Edmiston Drive this summer.
Record Sport takes a look at the latest news coming out of Ibrox.
Man City kid offered a chance
Manchester City youngster Marley Leuluai has reportedly been offered a trial with Rangers. The 16-year-old is on the Ibrox radar and has been offered the chance to win a deal at the Scottish Premiership side.
Football Scotland report that the centre-back will not be offered a professional contract wit the Premier League giants and is now being considered by Rangers' academy staff. Leuluai has been with City since he was eight years old after coming through the young age group at Blackburn Rovers, and has represented New Zealand under-17s.
McGregor ready for 'special achievement'
Michael Beale has heaped praise on Allan McGregor as he approaches his 500th appearance for the club.
The 41-year-old will reach the landmark should he made an appearance in the Scottish Premiership clash with Dundee United. Ibrox boss Beale told Rangers TV that the goalkeeper was a role model for the next generation of talent.
"He is a man that sticks to his rituals and works away - if we are a minute late to the stadium he gets annoyed as he is really thorough in his preparation, his recovery and his training. That has enabled him to have a wonderful career. To achieve 500 games for Rangers is a very special achievement.
"In the time I have worked with him here, he has been absolutely outstanding. I think he can be hugely proud. The service he has given this football club as a young boy coming through our academy is absolutely outstanding."
Morelos in demand
Reports in Turkey suggest that Galatasaray are ramping up their interest in Alfredo Morelos as he nears the end of his Rangers contract.
The clock is ticking on the Colombian’s six-year stay in Govan and it was reported recently that his agent had held talks with Galatasaray, and the club look set to clear the decks before the potential arrival this summer. According to Aksam, the 26-year-old is nearing an agreement with the Turkish giants who are set to allow Bafetimbi Gomis leave for free at the end of the campaign.
The 37-year-old has chipped in with eight goals so far this term. However, the report notes that Galatasaray are looking to cut their cloth before Morelos arrives.
Barisic starts for Croatia
The Rangers full-back was used sparingly at the World Cup, but Borna Barisic remains firmly in Zlatko Dalic's plans for the future with Croatia. He was handed a rare start in the 2-0 victory over Turkey as the international boss shook up the squad.
The 30-year-old will be dreaming of reaching another major tournament with his nation. They sit in top spot in their group after a draw with Wales and the win in Bursa.
