Rangers in Napoli Champions League update after SPFL weekend postponement

Rangers SPFL Napoli Celtic Queen Elizabeth II

Rangers have provided an update on their Champions League clash with Napoli and confirmed the game is ON as things stand.

The SPFL announced this afternoon that matches involving Rangers, Celtic and the rest of the pyramid will not go ahead this weekend following the sad passing of Her Majesty The Queen. The UK's longest-serving monarch died at Balmoral on Thursday after reigning for 70 years, aged 96.

The likes of the Old Firm duo, Hearts, Queen's Park and many more clubs all paid touching tributes and sent their thoughts and condolences to the Royal Family following the news yesterday with the Ibrox side also taking part in a training ground silence earlier today.
