Former Rangers striker Jermain Defoe stunned a group of fans in Hamilton when he dropped in on a five-a-side match for a kickabout.
The Englishman won the Scottish Premiership with Rangers last season and joined Sunderland in January, before announcing his retirement for professional football in March.
However, footage posted on his Instagram shows he is still clearly itching for a game - as he swapped the glamour of big stadiums like Ibrox and the Stadium of Light for the Hamilton Powerleague (Pitz).
And, naturally, having scored over 200 times in his professional career, he got in on the act with a goal.
He posted on his Instagram this evening: "Just casually stopped the car to have a kick around with some Rangers fans.
"Obviously had to get on the scoresheet."
Current Rangers striker Kemar Roofe replied: "How did you casually have boots on you?"
"Was in boot of my car bro," Defoe replied.
It is thought Defoe is back up in Scotland ahead of tomorrow night's Europa League semi-final second leg clash with RB Leipzig, at Ibrox, which also comes shortly after legendary Ibrox kitman Jimmy Bell passed away.
Just yesterday Defoe also posted a tribute to Bell, saying: Jimmy my friend, I'm absolutely gutted.
"It's not often at a football club that someone becomes a legend without kicking a ball.
"You were the heart and soul of the club, someone who always stressed the importance to me about winning, the range of standards and the great players before me."
