Some Rangers fans believe a weekend win over Aberdeen is a turning point in their season as they prepare to bring the curtain down on their Champions League campaign against Ajax on Tuesday night. There are also a few who believe it's a bit premature to point to a hammering of the Dons as a sign of better times ahead.
Gordon Hendry, Ochiltree , said: "It was a great result for loyal Rangers fans and Gio van Bronckhorst against Aberdeen and the winning margin could have been double figures. Surely this result will be enough to silence the snipers and the so-called pundits trying to get our manager sacked. GVB should hang in there until after the World Cup when some of our star players return from injury and the January Ttransfer window opens. Some so-called fans should be careful about what they wish for."
Andrew Lamb in Fraserburgh, emailed: "I can't wait for an end to Rangers Champions League campaign and the arrival of the World Cup to give Rangers a break and allow the injured players to get fit and make a comeback. Celtic are simply further on with their team development than Rangers and I fear the Ibrox club will drop more points."
Paul Conner, emailed: "Rangers defeated a very poor Aberdeen team and are now world beaters according to some people. Let's see how they get on against Ajax before their fans can hallucinate over a domestic treble.
"They are stuck with the manager and his assistants as they can't afford severance pay and are also stuck with some duds such as Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent."
Craig Gordon, Ayr, emailed: "It’s great that all the Rangers fans think all their troubles have gone after a home win against Aberdeen.
"The unlucky part for them is that they will need this Celtic team to hit a bad run and that isn’t going to happen. We may drop the odd point but this squad is too strong and our manager has their manager's number in his back pocket."

Jim Simm, emailed: "I had to laugh at the sports Hotline on Sunday, it was as predictable as a Rangers penalty. We had the regular comedian Mr Wilson now saying they are in contention for the league after defeating one of the worst Aberdeen sides in living memory. Is he part of the same band of so-called supporters who were calling for Gio’s head a few weeks back?"

Now we are going to get players going down like May did just in case their team loses a goal at a corner or free kick in the hope that the officials will be as easi!y conned as those at Perth. I want to stay, but the officials need to be a lot smarter. The red card for Tony Watt in the Dundee United game was also too harsh."
Jim McClean, Rothesay, emailed: "VAR was a joke during the Kilmarnock game at the weekend. I thought it would help but it will prove I am wrong because we will still have referee blunders like we saw on Saturday. There is no consistency by the referees and they still haven’t got a clue."
