Rangers fans are desperately trying to return a lost passport to a Lanarkshire man who is believed to have travelled to Seville for the Europa League final.

David Allan's passport was found in Plaza Alameda de Hercules yesterday afternoon and now fans are trying to track him down to return it before he misses his flight back home.

Facebook group The Badger Loyal shared David Cumming's post after he discovered the Uddingston man's passport following pre-match celebrations in the Spanish square.

Fans have been sharing the post all morning (Facebook)

Posting online this morning, David wrote: "Second attempt. Please share everyone.

"David Cummings from Uddingston's passport found in the square yesterday. Lets get him home."

The post has already been shared hundreds of times by fans who are desperate to prevent the fan from being stranded abroad.

It's believed the man is yet to claim his travel document.
