RANGERS stars Calvin Bassey and Joe Aribo have been recognised by Nigeria for their impressive form over the past season.
The Gers pair were among the winners at the national team's annual "Ballers Awards".
Bassey has become a pivotal cog in Giovanni van Bronckhorst's Rangers' starting XI, putting in a series of man of the match performances - including in the Europa League final against Eintracht Frankfurt.
This had led to serious transfer interest this summer, with a handful of Premier League sides said to be interested in the 22-year-old.
And with his rise to prominence, Bassey was awarded with the Revelation of the Year gong at the Nigerian ceremony on Saturday night.
His club and international teammate Airbo was named Nigeria's Midfielder of the Year.
Both players are currently away with their country on international duty in the latest round of fixtures.
They will return to Rangers for pre-season at the end of this month ahead of another big season.
