Rangers dominate Scotland's most valuable player charts with just two Celtic stars making top 10

NEW data published by football information gatherer Transfermarkt has revealed the most valuable combined XI for the Scottish Premiership.

Six Rangers players make the cut, while only five Celtic stars have made the team.

Joe Hart, Josip Juranovic, Callum McGregor, Liel Abada and Jota are all included from Ange Postecoglou's side last season who won the Premiership and League Cup.

In terms of Rangers, Calvin Bassey, James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Joe Aribo, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos all make the cut.

Kent is quoted with the highest market value on Transftermarkt of £15.75million, with Alfredo Morelos a close second at £11.7million.

Celtic's top asset, according to the data, is captain McGregor who has a value of £7.2million, both Abada and Jota are priced at £6.75million.

Just McGregor and Jota make the top ten charts of the most valuable players currently playing in Scotland.
