Hibs hero Kevin Nisbet says it's great to be back after ending a 10-month injury nightmare with a goal in last night's 3-2 defeat against Rangers at Ibrox.
The 25-year-old from Cambuslang struck in 16 minutes to put the Hibees 2-1 up, after Fashion Sakala had cancelled out Ryan Porteous's opener, only to concede goals to Ryan Jack and Alfredo Morelos as Rangers ran out narrow winners.
Nisbet suffered an ACL injury in a clash against Celtic back in February that ruled out the rest of his season, and most of the first half of this one.
After having made such an impact at Ibrox in his first game back, Nisbet told Hibs TV: "It was my first game back in a long time, so it's great to get a goal, but overall we are all disappointed with the result.
"It was a frantic start, but I thought we dealt with it well.
"We picked up second balls, we were tidy in possession and created chances on the counter-attack.
"We got ourselves 2-1 up going into half-time, but in the second half we conceded two soft goals.
"The goals we conceded were disappointing from a team perspective, but we will analyse them and take it from there.
"The performance was a lot better than in recent games, so that gives us something to build on ahead of next week.
"We will go into the Livingston game [on Christmas Eve] full of confidence."
