Rangers are set to pocket seven figures if Billy Gilmour completes his move from Chelsea to Brighton and Hove Albion.
The midfielder has been on the fringes at Stamford Bridge this summer and the Auchenhowie academy graduate is set to be allowed to leave for the Seagulls. It's been reported by various sources that a £9 million deal has been agreed between the clubs after his loan at Norwich City, with a medical underway.
AMEX Stadium boss Graham Potter has been keen on a deal for the Scotland international who left Rangers for London as a teenager, and is set to land his man. A clause in his contract means that his boyhood club are set to make some money off his first permanent transfer as a senior player, Football Scotland claiming that they will earn more than £1m on the deal. It would be a nice bonus for the Ibrox club.

They have already earned three cash windfalls this summer, the first two being the sales of Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey.
