Rangers and Celtic Youth Cup final catches Ally McCoist napping as he's stunned when Alan Brazil tells him the score

Ally McCoist missed the stunning Youth Cup final between Rangers and Celtic on Wednesday night...and was left stunned when Alan Brazil told him the score.

The Old Firm youth sides did battle at Hampden and it was the young Hoops who emerged victorious from an ELEVEN goal thriller. It went all the way to extra time but it was eventually Lewis Dobbie's sublime back-heel that sealed a 6-5 win for Celtic who claimed the trophy for an incredible 17th time.

It was heartbreak for Rangers who had Zak Lovelace sent off for a dive in the second half. And Rangers hero McCoist was left blown away when Alan Brazil told him the score. He was speaking to the former Celtic striker on talkSPORT with the incredible Hampden final high on the agenda. When told how it panned out, he said: "Really? Wow! What a game that must have been."

Rangers midfielder Cameron Campbell was left reeling by the defeat as he refused to take the positives from a game that saw them ship seven goals to their rivals. He said: "There is definitely positives in that game, if you look at the attacking play but we can't stand here and look at the positives when we've conceded six goals against Celtic in a cup final.

"The days for reflecting back and picking apart the game will come but right now it is about managing the players emotions and getting them to learn and deal with these situations."
