Celtic have all but won the title and Rangers are in the Europa League Final so you’d think Glasgow would be place of peace and harmony with everyone happy.
But think again.
This is Scottish football and the debate is now on over just who is the best in the land – and what European achievement is best.
Robert McNab, via email, said: “What an achievement to get to a European final with the increasing financial divide and where Rangers have come from in the recent past.
“It’s shameful and a scandal that Rangers players have largely been ignored for any Scottish player of the year awards this season.
“Fans and officials alike sadly have an agenda against Rangers no doubt jealous of our success.”
Gary Stevenson, Newtonhill, said: “Well done to Celtic for securing the title and for your PFA awards, player of the year, manager of the year, goal of the year.
“Well done to Hearts for getting Craig Gordon shortlisted and to Ross County for Regan Charles Cook's nomination.
“That sums up the entire season with nothing else of note happening within Scottish Football... No one likes us we don't care!”
George Wilson, West Sussex, said: “It’s disappointing to lose our Scottish champions status but we can get the league title back next year.
“Whereas it may be a couple of years before we reach or win another European Final and it will be about 20 years or more before Celtic will get anywhere near to our achievements.”
Lewis Fotheringham, Mount Ellen, said: “Celtic have not won this league, Rangers have lost it. Still, if we win the Europa league and Scottish Cup then it will more than make up for the concession of the title.”
John Grant emailed: “Thursday night proved that Rangers are the best football team in Scotland by far.
“Celtic will win the trophy, but ultimately, we handed it to them.
“Every Rangers player in that team is now worth double of a Celtic squad that embarrassed Scotland with their appalling displays in European.”
Ex-Ger Kenny Miller reckons winning the Europa League would be among the great Scottish football achievements.
But Stevie Drennan emailed: “Can someone please ask Kenny to put the Evo-Stik away.
“Winning the Europa will be up there with the Lisbon Lions? Get a grip.”
Henry Moffat Stirling, said: “What is Kenny on about? The big leagues still had all the best players back then and Celtic beat the champions of every country they played.
“It’s great that after all these years it annoys them that they will never win world football’s biggest trophy.”
Harry Fitpatrick, Ontario, said: “What is Kenny smoking? Can someone tell him it’s the Europa League not the big one.
“It's the reason why Celtic have the one real star above their logo, not phone ones worn on Rangers tops.”
Paul McArdle, Gourock, said: The Lisbon Lions won five trophies and were the first British club to win the European Cup.
“Rangers never got anywhere near it but their fans tell it us it was easy.”
Robert Frew, Glasgow, said: “Rangers fans claim they sacrificed the title to pursue success in Europe.
“Using their logic perhaps Celtic lost out in Europe to concentrate on regaining the title.”
Celtic fans have started the title party though.
Gerry Milligan, Erskine, said: “What Ange Postecoglou has delivered in 10 months is supernatural.
“I can see him being there for Celtic’s 55 in three years' time.”
Sean Beech, Hampshire, said: “Enjoy your finals Rangers but whatever happens you’re still only second best in Scotland this season because the league table doesn’t lie.”
