Rangers' departing stars got sent off at Ibrox but it was a last gasp leveller that denied victory on the night.
Lawrence Shankland silenced the home crowd inside the first minute after poking beyond Allan McGregor from close range on a final appearance in Govan for the veteran No1. The goal was checked by VAR but following a review it was given. The Light Blues have already shown they are able to recover from going behind on numerous occasions under Michael Beale and that was the case once more as Todd Cantwell and Fashion Sakala netted to turn the game on its head. However, Garang Kuol silenced the home support by levelling with the final kick of the ball in Govan.
Former Norwich City man Cantwell made it four goals in his last four games on the stroke of half-time with an excellent low finish and looks like he will be a key member of the Beale's new look squad for next season. Despite the late leveller, it still means an unbeaten end to the season at home for the Light Blues. Here's three things we learned.

Final farewell
The Rangers support said farewell to five departing faces at Ibrox this evening.
Allan McGregor and Alfredo Morelos both started the match against Hearts with Scott Arfield making it on to the pitch for a final apperance in Govan from the bench. Ryan Kent and Filip Helander are both still injured but took in the game before taking in the ovation of the fans at full time.
A big group of names and years of service heading out but it is the start of something new under Michael Beale with summer plans well underway.
Looking at the future
Michael Beale has spent the past few weeks looking at players to step up and show they are ready for the new era.
The likes of Robby McCrorie, Rabbi Matondo and Ridvan Yilmaz have been playing in recent weeks while Ryan Jack has been handed fresh terms..
Kieran Dowell is also now in the door on a pre-contract after penning for three years with January duo Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin set to be key men. They've settled very quickly at Ibrox and will play big roles going forward. Cantwell has four goals in his last four games and is quickly becoming a huge favourite with the fans.
A massive summer awaits for the Light Blues faithful and this is just the start ahead of trying to dethrone Celtic and attempting to qualify for the Champions League once again.
Powers of recovery
How often do we say it about this Rangers side under Michael Beale?
A very early setback after just one minute with Lawrence Shankland on target for the visitors following a VAR review.
But that unbeaten Ibrox record this season in the league remains in tact after yet another comeback despite a late sting in the tail.
Todd Cantwell grabbed the leveller bang on the whistle and within moments of the second half the home side took the lead.
Fashion Sakala capitalised on a Toby Sibbick error to fire home and get the Ibrox crowd on their feet but it was Hearts who had the final say with a late leveller.
