Randeep Hooda's 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' in Oscars 2025 race; actor says 'This recognition pushes our narrative even further'

The makers of the historical biopic 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' were over the moon to announce that the film has been submitted as one of India's entries to contend at the upcoming 97th Academy Awards.

Randeep Hooda, along with producers Anand Pandit, Sandeep Singh, expressed their heartfelt gratitude for this acknowledgement. "This is a moment of great pride, not just for our team, but for everyone who believes in telling stories of our unsung heroes. Being chosen as one of India's entries for the Oscars is a huge validation of our efforts," said Pandit, on behalf of the makers.
