Ranbir Kapoor, who recently welcomed his first child with his wife Alia Bhatt, opened up about the joys of embracing fatherhood, dividing parental duties and more.
Speaking at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah, Ranbir revealed that it is the most exciting time in their life. Alia and he have been boyfriend, girlfriend a couple of years back and then they became husband and wife and now they are parents.
The actor recalled that they were talking the other day and he realised that it still has not hit him that he is now a father of a daughter. The actor added that there are stars in his brain right now.
When asked about the difference between being a father and the previous phase of his life, Ranbir added that he is wondering why he took so long. According to him, he should have become a father sooner.
After dating each other for more than four years, Ranbir and Alia got hitched in April this year in an intimate wedding ceremony with just close friends and family in attendance. They welcomed their daughter, Raha Kapoor in November.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir will next be seen in Luv Ranjan’s untitled next with Shraddha Kapoor. The actor is also a part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ with Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna.
