The NFL will release the complete 2023 regular-season schedule on Thursday night, revealing when each game will be played. We already know every team’s opponent and whether each game is on the road or at home, which gives us a good idea of how tough the 32 schedules are likely to be next season.
Andrew Siciliano shared the strength of schedule for each team in 2023 based on their opponents’ records last season and the Rams’ slate of games is surprisingly difficult. Based on this metric, the Rams will have the ninth-toughest schedule in the NFL with an opponent win percentage of .533.
Per @NFLResearch:
Eagles have the “most difficult” 2023 strength-of-schedule.
Falcons have the “easiest”.

One would think their schedule would be on the easier side after finishing 5-12 last season, but they’re getting no favors with teams like the Cowboys, Bengals, Ravens, Steelers, Eagles and Packers all on the schedule.
The Rams’ schedule is the toughest of any NFC West team and there are only four teams in the conference with a tougher schedule than the Rams. It does help a little bit that Aaron Rodgers is no longer on the Packers, but the quarterbacks on Los Angeles’ schedule are still great – Jalen Hurts, Dak Prescott, Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson among them. They’ll also have to face the No. 4 overall pick, Anthony Richardson, with the Colts.
