The Los Angeles Rams got in a light day of work on Wednesday to kick off Week 10 before they face the Arizona Cardinals this weekend, only holding a jog-thru at Cal Lutheran. They still released an injury report and there were a handful of players listed as non-participants.
Among them was Matthew Stafford, who was placed in the concussion protocol on Tuesday and is uncertain to play on Sunday against the Cardinals. Also missing the jog-thru were Brian Allen and Alaric Jackson, but Sean McVay expects both of them to be able to play this weekend.
Greg Gaines is dealing with an elbow injury, Travin Howard has a hip injury, Robert Rochell was out sick and Malcolm Brown is dealing with a hamstring issue.
The Cardinals’ side of the injury report was even longer, listing 15 players on Wednesday. Like the Rams, they also held a walk-thru so participation is an estimation.
Kyler Murray was held out with a hamstring injury, Rondale Moore and J.J. Watt were both considered limited and Budda Baker was DNP with an ankle issue.
We’ll get a better sense of both teams’ injury situations when they practice on Thursday.
