The Los Angeles Rams are gearing up to face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon, seeking to avoid their second straight loss to start the year. Their injury report is already much longer than last week’s, listing a total of five players on the initial report Wednesday.
Among them is Joe Noteboom, who Sean McVay said on Friday is expected to be ready for Week 2 after injuring his knee in the loss to the Bills. Matt Orzech, who is also expected to play, was held out with a calf injury.
Noteboom, Orzech, Brian Allen and Van Jefferson were all non-participants on Wednesday. McVay told reporters the Rams are taking it “a week at a time” with Jefferson, so it doesn’t sound like he’s quite ready to return.
Leonard Floyd was listed as a limited participant with a knee injury of his own. It’s unclear when his injury occurred, so his status will be worth monitoring.
