Cooper Kupp wasn’t the only Rams played injured in Sunday’s win over the Seahawks. Puka Nacua, Ben Skowronek, Coleman Shelton and Quentin Lake all came out a little banged up, too, though their injuries are to varying degrees.
On Wednesday, the Rams began their Thanksgiving week preparation for the Cardinals and Sean McVay gave an injury update between the walk-through and practice. Kupp is unsurprisingly being held out of practice to open the week, as are Shelton, Lake and Larrell Murchison.
Rob Havenstein is also getting a veteran rest day, so he’s not practicing Wednesday. As for Puka Nacua, McVay said the rookie receiver will be limited and that he’s “doing good, though.” Nacua injured his shoulder in the second half against the Seahawks but was able to continue playing.
McVay didn’t give any indication of whether Kupp will be ready to play by Sunday, but he said the receiver is “feeling good.”
“We’re going to hold him out today. We’ll see what tomorrow looks like,” he said.
Update: The full injury report was released after practice, showing Cobie Durant, Ben Skowronek and Kevin Dotson were also limited.
