The Los Angeles Rams are filling out their coaching staff after losing several assistants to other teams this offseason, including assistant special teams coach Dwayne Stukes. He left to become the Broncos’ special teams coordinator, and the Rams have already found his replacement.
According to Pete Thamel of ESPN, the Rams have hired Jeremy Springer as their assistant special teams coach. He was with Marshall last season and agreed to become Ole Miss’ special teams coach last week, but the Rams gave him an opportunity in the NFL.
Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports confirmed the hiring by the Rams, though the team hasn’t yet made it official.
