The Los Angeles Rams are on a shorter week than usual after playing on Monday night, getting only one day off on Tuesday before returning to work on Wednesday. With players’ bodies feeling the toll of a 20-week season thus far, the Rams took it easy to begin the week.
They did not practice Wednesday but since they’re required to issue an injury report, players’ participation was merely an estimation. Buddy Howell (hamstring), Taylor Rapp (concussion) and Andrew Whitworth (knee) were all deemed non-participants, while Brandon Powell (ribs), Troy Reeder (ankle) and Ben Skowronek (back) were listed as limited.
The Buccaneers’ injury report was much longer, with six players missing today’s walk-through due to injuries, including Tristan Wirfs (ankle) and C Ryan Jensen (ankle). Lavonte David (foot) was limited, as was Giovani Bernard (hip/knee).
We’ll get a much better idea of each team’s health when they actually take the field for a full practice on Thursday and Friday.
