The 2022 NFL draft is rapidly approaching and the Los Angeles Rams are compiling a list of prospects that they could target. The Rams might not have their first pick until the third round, but the lack of premium draft picks hasn’t prevented them from adding key contributors in recent years.
With Bobby Wagner agreeing to terms with the Rams — giving them some stability at inside linebacker — the team could elect to center their attention on other positions in the draft. One of the most glaring needs for Los Angeles entering the draft resides in the interior of the offensive line.
While the Rams retained Brian Allen and Coleman Shelton in the interior this offseason, Austin Corbett signed with the Carolina Panthers in free agency. Even though Shelton can be a solid starter until Los Angeles finds a long-term answer, the draft is an avenue the team could take to replace Corbett.
After compiling a draft profile on Cole Strange (which you can check out here), Ed Ingram out of LSU is another name to watch for the Rams if he’s available in the third round.
