Rammstein in Cardiff 2022: List of banned items from the Principality Stadium gig

Rammstein are preparing to take to the stage at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Thursday, June 30 as part of their biggest ever European Stadium Tour. The gig was originally scheduled for 2020 but was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic and rescheduled for 2022.

The show, which has been a long time coming, will mark the band’s second-ever appearance in Wales, following their performance at the Motorpoint Arena in 2005. It comes after their recent gig in Coventry, with reports stating the band could be heard up to 11 miles away.

Doors to the Principality Stadium are set to open at 5pm for the gig and there are some security rules you will need to follow, including what you can and can't take into the stadium. Food or beverages are not allowed, other than in exceptional circumstances, and admission will be denied if a person attempts to gain entry with alcohol. You can find out what else is banned below.

What items are banned from the Principality Stadium?

There are ground regulations when attending events at the Principality Stadium with many prohibited items listed on the official website:

Fireworks

Flares

Pyrotechnics

All horns including air horns

Musical instruments

Smoke canisters

Laser pointers

Bottles

Glasses

Cans

Cooking devices

Banners

Poles

Large golf-type umbrellas

Selfie sticks

Knives

Blades and other articles or containers – including any which could or might be used as a weapon – or any other item which in the reasonable opinion of the WRU Group, its servants or agents, could be used as a weapon or cause nuisance to others.

All promotional, commercial, political, and religious printed matter, including but not limited to leaflets, banners, flags, signs, symbols

Animals (except service dogs and guide dogs) or livestock
