A Glasgow woman who caused her 74-year-old neighbour to fall down a flight of stairs avoided jail today.
Danielle Houston assaulted Dougal Macholeki in Baillieston, Glasgow Sheriff Court heard.
The 34-year-old grabbed Mr Macholeki by his T-shirt and both toppled over the stairs causing injury to the pensioner.

Houston, of Baillieston, pled guilty to assaulting Mr Macholeki to his injury.
The mum-of-two also admitted assaulting Kirsty McGowan at the same time and place.
The court heard onlookers saw a drunk Houston was "rambling" without provocation on March 21, 2021.
Houston then lunged at Miss McGowan before grabbing her hair and pulled her to the ground.
She then punched her to the head.
Houston then went to the house of Mr Macholeki and banged on his door.
Prosecutor Laura Martin said: "Houston became aggressive and grabbed out at him.
"She took hold of his T-shirt and was able to drag him out to the landing near a set of stairs.
"A short tussle resulted in Houston and Mr Macholeki losing their footing and both parties fell down three stairs."
Mr Macholeki suffered grazing and grazing to the back of his hands and lower back.
A 999 call was made as Houston was found crawling on the street with blood on her face
Liam Runciman, defending, told the court that Houston believed she was punched first by Miss McGowan.
The lawyer added: "There is no excuse for her actions and she has displayed genuine remorse for the elderly victim and regrets her conduct.
"She says she is ashamed of her actions.
"She was quite disorientated due to alcohol and entered the wrong address by mistake and the victim became distressed before he tried to force her out.
"During the tussle, they fell down a flight of stairs."
Sheriff Vincent Lunny tagged Houston for 163 days keeping her indoors between 7pm and 7am.
She was also put under supervision for two years.
