Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has dismissed any idea that striker Che Adams is available for transfer despite Everton's rumoured interest in the 26-year-old.
Everton are keen on bringing in another option in attack after Dominic Calvert-Lewin's recent setback means the England international will now miss the next six weeks' worth of action.
One of the forward names said to be in the frame is Adams, who failed to feature in the Saints' opening day defeat at Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

But Hasenhuttl has shot down the suggestion that the Scotland international could leave for the Blues - or any other club.
‘’There is definitely nothing serious behind what you want to call this rumour or whatever,'' said the 55-year-old earlier today after being asked about the possibility of Adams joining Everton on loan. ''We are not prepared or willing to listen to loan offers for him to go anywhere.''
‘’I think we will never be a team that can put down offers for the right amount of money for any player, this will never happen at this club,'' added Hasenhuttl,
''We had to sell our captain in the first year and our best goalscorer in the second year. When we think the price is right for us then we have always said that we are a club that may benefit us. But this [Adams] will not happen, no.’’
