Ralf Rangnick has provided an update on the selection of Manchester United youngsters in the remaining games this season.
Following defeat to Everton on Saturday there was a clamour from members of the United fan base for the academy players to be given their opportunity in the United starting lineup. Yesterday afternoon it appeared that supporters may have got their wish.
Alejandro Garnacho and Hannibal Mejbri were both seen entering the team's Lowry Hotel signifying that they are likely to be part of the matchday squad for the visit of Norwich City. However, Rangnick was quick to urge that he would not rush them into the team.

"It’s always about playing the strongest available team because they are not friendly games and I don’t think we would do some of the youngsters a favour if we bring them in at the wrong moment," Rangnick explained. "I love to play young players but in a moment when the team is performing well and playing with confidence.
"Then it could be the right moment to give young players game-time, but not in a situation like we’re in right now." Garnacho has been in fine form for the U23s this season and earned a call up to the Argentina national team, training alongside Lionel Messi.
Hannibal meanwhile has also gained first-team experience with Tunisia. Earlier this year he was called up to their Africa Cup of Nations squad.
