Austria's national team manager Ralf Rangnick has provided an update on Leeds United star Max Wober after the defender suffered a muscle injury to his left thigh.
The 25-year-old has been vital to the Whites' defensive core since he arrived from Red Bull Salzburg in the January transfer window, with Leeds having only conceded 11 goals while he's been on the pitch in his 13 appearances.
His incredible form earned him a call-up to the latest Austria squad for their EURO 2024 qualifying campaign but just 34 minutes into their clash against Azerbaijan, he signalled towards the bench that he had to be subbed off.

The injury, if serious, would be a huge blow to Leeds' chances of survival in the Premier League, with Wober having played 90 minutes of every match new boss Javi Gracia has presided over so far.
With the official Austria national team account confirming mid-game he'd gone off with a muscle injury, it was a immediate worry for Leeds fans, and was something Rangnick was quick to address after the match.
“We’ll take a look at it again tomorrow with the coaching staff," Rangnick told Austrian outlet LAOLA1. "[We'll] check whether there’s structural damage.
"We hope that’s not the case."
