Ralf Rangnick has advised Sasa Kalajdzic that staying at Stuttgart instead of joining Manchester United wouldn't be a bad thing for the coming season.
United want to strengthen Erik ten Hag's attacking options this summer and Kalajdzic is a centre-forward who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford. Kalajdzic is now in the final year of his contract at Stuttgart and would be available for around £20million.
Kalajdzic has been linked with United, Chelsea and Everton this summer after catching scouts' attention with his performances in the 2020/21 season. Kalajdzic contributed 17 goals and six assists in 36 appearances in that campaign but injury prevented him from building on that promise last term. Kalajdzic was sidelined for the majority of last season but he still scored six goals.

Kalajdzic stands at a towering 6ft 7 and his stature has led to some suggesting he would be perfect for a move to the Premier League. Rangnick, who now manages Austria's national team, was asked about the player's future this week and he gave some advice.
“It is important that Sasa stays injury-free this season and trains and plays at the highest possible level,” Rangnick told Sky Austria. “If he stays in Stuttgart this season, it will not be a disadvantage for his development.”
There are now less than three weeks remaining in the summer transfer window and United still need new signings.
