NAGPUR: After Vidarbha put up a mountain of 703 runs in a little more than 2 days, Haryana also batted for almost the last 2 days. They were looking to play the last day out and share points with Vidarbha as their innings would have remained incomplete on Day 4 on Tuesday.
Replying to Vidarbha's 703, Haryana posed a dead bat and stretched it to the last over of the match with 492 for 8 on the board. Vidarbha, on the other hand, became eligible to take the third new ball just before that over.
