JAIPUR: Following a successful Ranji Trophy season last year, Rajasthan's Manav Suthar, 20, is busy attending bigger assignments. After making the cut for the Central Zone squad for Duleep Trophy, the left-arm spinner from Sri Ganganagar has made it to the India A side for the ACC Men's Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023 to be held from July 13 to 23 in Colombo.
"Somewhere I was expecting my name in the squad as I did well in the last domestic season. I was the highest wicket-taker in the Central Zone and that made me a contender for both Duleep Trophy and India A. I am very happy now and can't express my feelings in words," Manav told TOI from Bengaluru where he is participating in the Duleep Trophy.
