JAIPUR: One person died and 256 others tested corona positive on Thursday. The overall tally of cases in the state has increased to 12,80,564. The death toll rose to 9,540.
The active cases in the state have been reducing rapidly. In Bundi, there are no active cases as the last infected people have recovered. Dungarpur has two active cases, where four persons recovered and one person tested positive for the virus in 24 hours.
Jaipur has the highest number of active cases in the state at 1,391, where 162 persons were declared Covid-free, while 92 got infected for the virus. In 24 hours, the active cases in Jaipur have reduced from 1,461 to 1,391. In the state, the active cases have reduced from 3,525 to 3,111.
One person, who died due to Covid, belonged to Dausa. It was the third Covid casualty in March. tnn
