Raipur: CG’s Gyaneshwari clinches gold in nat’l weightlifting c’ship

RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh’s weightlifter Gyaneshwari Yadav has now become the country’s number one weightlifter in the 49 kg weight junior category as she clinched gold in the ongoing National Weightlifting Ranking Championships in Nagrota, Himachal Pradesh.

Gyaneshwari has also won silver medal in senior category. In this category, she had competed Tokyo Olympic Silver medalist Mirabai Chanu. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Higher Education and Sports Welfare Minister Umesh Patel have congratulated her for her achievements.
