Rainfall and hailstorm cause damage to mustard crop in Etah-Kasganj

AGRA: Rain and hailstorm in Etah and Kasganj district in the last 24 hours has caused damage to potato, mustard, wheat and vegetable crops.

Farmers in Etah and Kasganj districts claimed that over 50% of the mustard crop was damaged and tobacco crop was also affected. Bharatiya Kisan Sangh regional president Mohan Singh Chahar said, “The mustard crops have suffered the maximum damage. We have asked the local authorities to assess the crop loss and provide suitable compensation to the farmers.”
