Hold onto your umbrellas, folks, because Southern California is about to get hit with more rain and flooding just in time for the holiday weekend. It seems Mother Nature has decided to add a little extra drama to our festivities.
Earlier this week, an atmospheric river system unleashed its watery wrath on parts of Southern California, drenching the region with up to five inches of rain. And let me tell you, it was a sight to see. The streets of Santa Barbara turned into temporary rivers, trapping cars and causing knee-deep water to invade unsuspecting homes. Yikes!
