Rain in West Africa Weighs on Cocoa Prices

December ICE NY cocoa (CCZ25) on Tuesday closed down -273 (-3.57%), and December ICE London cocoa #7 (CAZ25) closed down -109 (-2.09%).

Cocoa prices retreated on Tuesday as rains in West Africa eased dry conditions and may promote flowering of cocoa trees and boost the region's cocoa output, a bearish factor for prices.
