Rain Forecasts for Brazil Pressure Sugar Prices

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) today is down -0.04 (-0.18%), and December London ICE white sugar #5 (SWZ24) is up +7.00 (+1.23%).

Sugar prices today are mixed, with NY sugar falling to a 1-week low.  Forecasts for rain in Brazil are weighing on sugar prices.  Forecaster Maxar Technologies said Monday that substantial showers are expected this week into next week for Brazil's sugar-growing regions, which should improve moisture and crop conditions.
