British Transport Police are investigating an assault against a member of rail staff. The incident took place on a train near Worksop at 4pm on Tuesday, November 29.
The victim was dealing with two men onboard the train service who were refusing to leave the toilet. The rail worker opened the door and one of the men began swearing at him.
The man then grabbed the victim by the arm and spat at him before exiting the train at Worksop Train Station. Officers investigating the assault have released a CCTV image of a man they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
