20. G Dylan Parham
The former third round pick has been a starter since day one. He has had his ups and downs, but mostly ok at left guard. The team thinks a move to right guard will help him improve his game even more.
19. DI John Jenkins
Big Jenk is still doing work approaching age 35. The team brought him back this offseason because he put up a combined 61 tackles from the interior line last season. That’s not just a career high for him, it’s more than he had in this previous three seasons combined.
18. QB Gardner Minshew
Yes, that’s Garnder Minshew in the Pro Bowl. He earned a trip to the game as an alternate after helping lead the Colts to a 7-6 record and a playoff berth. Mostly the Colts made it on the strength of their defense, but Minshew threw for over 3300 yards with 15 TD’s with just nine interceptions. He will battle for the starting job this season, but if you base your judgment on his experience and production, he would be the clear better option over Aidan O’Connell.
17. LB Divine Deablo
Deablo was a college safety who the Raiders drafted in the third round in 2021. He became a starter late in his rookie season and has held onto the job ever since. He’s a good coverage guy who isn’t a liability versus the run. A worthy starter.
16. G Jackson Powers-Johnson
The Rimington Award winner as the best center in college football last season. The Raiders may ultimately move him there, but for now he’s going to line up at guard. He will be a day one starter at left guard and will upgrade the overall line play.
