The biggest fish of the Raiders 2023 Draft class is reeled in. The team announced they have officially signed their top pick Tyree Wilson to his four-year rookie deal.
The deal is worth a total of $25 million over four years with an option for a fifth year. It carries a cap his of $4.54 million for this season.
The 6-6. 275-pounder dominated college football for the Red Raiders of Texas Tech to make him arguably the draft’s top pass rusher.
As a senior in 2022, Wilson was named first-team All-Big 12 Conference and first-team All-American by USA Today, The Athletic and Phil Steele Magazine. He played in 10 games and amassed seven sacks, and 61 tackles (36 solo) with 14 tackles for loss.
