Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will not join the team for its offseason training activities this week as he continues to recuperate from his left foot injury in December.
Las Vegas coach Josh McDaniels told reporters Thursday that the franchise was taking its time in the recovery process with Garoppolo. The Athletic reported that Garoppolo underwent surgery shortly after signing his three-year deal worth $67.5 million in March.
McDaniels did not not reveal any definite details on Garoppolo’s recovery timeline. However, he stated that there was no concern about his signal caller’s availability for the start of the 2023 NFL season.
