If the Raiders want to win in Week 2, they are going to have to find a way to run the ball. Luckily, they’ll face a run defense on Sunday that just allowed over 200 yards rushing in Week 1.
In a recent article by ESPN, they named one fantasy player that has to be in your lineup this week from each of the 16 games in Week 2. For the Raiders, that was none other than Josh Jacobs, who will face the leaky run defense of the Bills on Sunday.
Buy Raiders TicketsHere is a snippet of what the site had to say about Jacobs going into this matchup and why he is a must-start in Week 2:
Raiders running back Josh Jacobs led the league in rushing yards (1,653) and averaged 19.3 fantasy points per game in 2022. Now he faces a Bills defense that allowed 172 rushing yards to the Jets on Monday night, which was surprising because Buffalo had one of the best run defenses in the league last season.
Jacobs should get a ton of action in Week 2 as the Raiders look to control the ball and keep the game close. They are big underdogs in this matchup, so if they can limit the number of possessions for the Bills, they’ll have a chance to steal this game in Buffalo.
Make sure Jacobs is in your fantasy lineups this week as he could easily exceed 20+ touches.
