Raiders coach Josh McDaniels did his best to shut down any worries or concerns Thursday that quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo would be unable to play during the 2023 season.
Last week, Garoppolo did not join the Raiders for their offseason training activities. At the same time, McDaniels shared that Las Vegas was taking it slow with Garoppolo after the 31-year-old signal-caller underwent surgery on his left foot directly after signing his three-year contract worth $67.5 million in March, according to The Athletic.
With Garoppolo inactive in OTAs and speculation rising that his status for the start of the regular season could be in jeopardy, McDaniels told reporters said he is not concerned about the outlook for his signal-caller.
