One of the things that makes Maxx Crosby great is his consistency. Week in and week out, he finds a way to produce regardless of how much attention he draws. That has been the case even more so in 2023.
Crosby is off to the best start of his career, recording 9.5 sacks in nine games. He leads the NFL in multiple categories, including tackles for a loss (13) and pressures (53).
According to Pro Football Focus, he is the only defender in the NFL to record 50 or more pressures this season. After leading the league in pressures last season, he is on the pace to do it again.

Crosby is a complete player. He might be the best run defender in the league and he can get to the quarterback. What is scary is that Crosby is only 26 years old and continues to get better each year. He is a legitimate Defensive Player of the Year candidate and one of the best overall players in the NFL.
