Another game, another dominant performance by Maxx Crosby. At this stage in his career, it’s almost a given that he is going to record at least five pressures and multiple quarterback hits.
That was the case again in Week 2 as Crosby led the team in pressures with five. According to Pro Football Focus, he was the team’s second-highest graded player of the week as he finished the game with three quarterback hurries, one sack and one other quarterback hit.

Through two weeks, Crosby has already totaled 12 pressures, eight hurries and three quarterback hits. He is among the highest-graded pass rushers in the NFL as he has seemingly taken his game to another level.
If the Raiders want to get back on track this season, they’ll need other players on defense to step up. Because just like last year, Crosby is playing at a near All-Pro level once again. In fact, you can make a case that he’s been even better this year through two games.
