The Las Vegas Raiders were in the holiday spirit following their 20–14 win over the rival Kansas City Chiefs on Monday at Arrowhead Stadium.
Las Vegas safety Tre’von Moehrig, who racked up three tackles in the win, posted a savage message to social media after the game.
“Grinch stole Christmas mf,” he wrote minutes after the Raiders walked into a joyous locker room.

Moehrig wasn’t the only Raiders player to reference the Grinch on Monday. Jack Jones, his teammate in the secondary, did his best Grinch impression while celebrating a pick-six touchdown by acting like he’d hand the football to a young Chiefs fan before pulling it back.
Moehrig and the Raiders’ defense made life difficult for Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who threw for 235 yards, one touchdown and one interception on 27-of-44 passing.
It was just the second time Mahomes lost to the Raiders since becoming the Chiefs’ starting quarterback in 2018, and the second time he’s lost to an AFC West rival after the calendar flips to November.
The Chiefs could have clinched the AFC West with a win Monday. But Moehrig ruined their Christmas Day plans, not unlike the Grinch wrecking havoc in Whoville.
