The Raiders have added some much-needed cornerback help. After Amik Robertson left the game with a concussion in Week 10, the Raiders only had a few options left in their secondary. It was already one of the most shallow positional groups on the team, but they’ve now added some more talent.
According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the Raiders have claimed former New England Patriots CB Jack Jones. Jones was waived on Monday after playing just ten snaps for the Patriots in Week 10:

Jones does have ties with the team as he played with Antonio Pierce at Long Beach Poly and at Arizona State. Jones has been a good cornerback when he has been on the field, but injuries and off-the-field problems have plagued him this season.
Jones was a fourth-round pick by the Patriots during the 2022 NFL Draft and has appeared in 18 games. He has experience playing in the slot and on the outside, but it remains to be seen where the Raiders plan on using him in Patrick Graham’s defense.
