When Deebo Samuel was carted off the field a few weeks ago, the initial fear was he would be lost for the season. The diagnosis was far more optimistic. Samuel had an ankle sprain and the hope was that he could return as early as this week when the 49ers prepare to face the Raiders.
Well, that’s exactly what happened as Samuel took the practice field today for the 49ers opening up the possibility that he All Pro receiver will return to the field, missing just two weeks.

The 49ers have plenty to play for over the final two games of the season, so getting Samuel back is very good news. They are two games back of the Eagles for the top seed, so even with the division in hand, this game is important to them, so if they think Samuel can go, he will.
Also returning to practice for the 49ers were DE Nick Bosa, DT Javon Kinlaw, and P Mitch Wishnowsky.
