Raid finds 2,000 plant cannabis farm spread over 13 rooms

A huge cannabis farm with more than 2,000 plants spread over 13 rooms was discovered after police raided a warehouse.

At around 9.20am on Thursday, July 7, police carried out a targeted raid at a warehouse on Thomas Street in Birkenhead. Once inside officers found the plants and equipment spread over a number of rooms.

There were three arrests, one man at the scene, a further two were put in cuffs after a number of enquiries.
